Capture card.

Hey guys.You might know i've been recording stuff for my channel lately and stuff. I've had a couple of problems. First of all is the audio which I cant fix atm(but is easy) and second is my capture card.Now atm I use a roxio which doesnt record in anything higher then 480p which is a problem(plus the quality is a bit bad). Its limiting my recording a lot plus I have read from reports that the problem with the audio is just with the roxio not anything else. Now im thinking of replacing the card in april(Birthday woo!) with a http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hauppauge-Capture-Definition-Hardware-Encoders/dp/B001M0MY10/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1321911062&sr=8-3 .However I want to know your opinions on it or are there any better ones around for a budget of £150. If you can find some it would be great. Adexis/Satath out.

You might want to buy "Hauppauge HD PVR USB"

Also try rendering the videos on your computer after recording..

It makes the video much smoother and you can render it up to 1080p

Also try to make commentary or something over game play.. It is not so fun to watch a gameplay video with no music or commentary...

Lets Play videos are usually commentary videos, where the player talks about the game while plays it.

When I recorded it I had a sore throat so it was hard to speak =P Ill do it with more videos later but for now its hard due to the fact my throat hurts like hell =P

i played CSS (Counter Strike: Source) for 7 years before minecraft, i was unstoppable. once you get it you never lose it and it can be applied to all FPS's with 1-2 rounds warmup.

Tipz,what capture card do you use for recording?

I used a dazzle, but that was a while ago. If I started again I would use a HD PVR

im getting a hauppauge hd pvr when I get enough money to replace the roxio. Most youtubers use that =P
